Just noticed this comment. I had removed the mat to install the mount to the floor bolt. When I was finished I just threw the mat back in the car in any direction, because I was focused on getting a pic of the mount. I didn't install it that way permanently. Duh! Winning!

Anywhere there's a bolt to secure it. It's not left or right sided.
