I attended the Remix Car Show and Xtreme Circuit Drift event at Irwindale Speedway on Saturday. I was able to get media credentials which allowed for track access. I was hoping to be able to shoot from the infield of the track, but the only spot where they allowed us to shoot was through openings in the fence. This is only my second time shooting a drift event, I need to get out there and do this more often. Had a blast.

Thanks man. I shot these with a Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 VR w/ 1.4X teleconverter. I didn't need the extra reach for most of the shots, but the 1.4 TC doesn't slow down the AF or affect the image quality, so I used it for the few shots that I would need it on.

 

It sounded like a beast Edafe!
