Pictures from Vacation/Trip that started in Vegas!
So for entire week now I've been enjoying nice sunny weather in Vegas and now in Angels Camp, CA.
First I want to mention that I'm very impressed with a G and how it handles on the road at high speed. Obviously there are rough enough roads that shook the crap out of it and sadly G developed some new rattle noises that I have to look into, but it's quite comforting to know that you can take any upcoming turn at pretty much any (reasonable) speed without need of slowing down (even at night).
So on to the pix.
Starting off with Vegas. Some pix I took with my phone so sorry for the chitty quality.
Since Vegas is all about @ss and *******...........here is some @ss and *******

While in the area we also visited the "Hoover thing"

That is one big damn dam.
After spending a week in Vegas we decided to move down to Angels Camp, CA for the weekend.......That's where I'm actually at, at the moment.
What a beautiful place. It's too bad that it's all gonna become yellow and boring during the summer.

While driving around and exploring the area we came up on this "Wonderful" place with very unique name that was just begging for the picture.
To help you comprehend and fully understand the above picture....here is another one I took at that "Hoover place" that should assist you with that task.

So far that's all I got.
In for a few more activities tomorrow so I should have some more pix
Later!
UPDATE!
Quick one from Vegas.
As I was digging through pictures I found some more ******* so here we go.

Now this morning I have encountered a massive Wood!

Here it is in comparison with my wife. Size extra small vs mmmmmmmmmm I dunno......8-15 feet in diameter tree.

Couple of near by brothers

And just a "little" stump

Now this thing is well over 20 ft in diameter.
Here is a bit of historic pictures of it

Since I was terribly fascinated with all the "holes" I encountered earlier, we decided to visit another hole today.
This one is over 400 ft deep.

The picture above shows only 165 ft of the cave but it actually keeps on going down to 410 ft. Tours only go down to 165 ft.
There are two entries into the cave. One on the left and you can use a rope to descent down or you can use stairs to come down. We used the stairs cuz using a wet rope did not sound like a good idea.
This is how narrow the stairs are

They only go down to 65 ft and after that you go down another 100 ft using a spiral stairs. We were told that those spiral stairs were the first arch welded structure in North America and that there was no nuts or bolts used to put it together.
Here is a picture capturing some of it

Once down the cave we encountered some rock vagina looking things

Overall it was a pretty sweet looking cave, there were 3 more in the area but we did not feel like driving around and checking them out, this one was entertaining enough.
So far it looks like this vacation is over. I'll be back at the end of the June and first couple of weeks of July with a coverage on a trip to Florida.
This time I think I'll blue tape the G cuz I don't feel like playing chicken with bugs size of golf ball in Nebraska.
Tomorrow I got 800 mile drive, I'll post any fun pix if we encounter anything fun.
Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaah

Damn, that last picture's kind of scary if you imagine being thrown down it tied up...
Don't ask me why I thought of that, lol.
Joker, looks like fun.
What is your coupe dropped on?
Also, are you getting any trouble from cops for not having a front plate in Cali?

that would suck. I was told it's bout 200 ft drop.
Surprisingly good.
G is very smooth and quiet considering that it's riding on harder suspension and low profile tires.
Constantly producing record numbers at 26 mpg. Also I'm very impressed with amount of torque it has. I usually cruise at 3-5 miles over the speed limit and obviously there are plenty of cars that do allot more than that, but every time we come up on a hill I usually catch up to them or overtake them. And it doesn't feels like G is putting much effort to keep up the speed once it starts climbing.
Going south on I-15 from Vegas to Cali you encounter quite allot of hills once you enter Cali. Speed limit for the cars is 70, I was cruising at about 74 in the right lane and rest of the cars were passing me on the flats in the left lane. One of these cars was a newer series 7 BMW. The guy has passed me right at the bottom of the hill as we were starting to climb. So my G being a champ that she is showed the bimmer how to properly climb hills and overtook him like he was parked. Operantly that did not sit well with the driver of the bimmer so he thought it would be good idea to put both of his feet on a gas pedal. When he was overtaking me there was incredibly dense cloud of smoke coming out from underneath the car. I could not smell what was smoking (tire or oil smoke) cuz of my charcoal cab filter so I opened the window to identify the smoke. Surprisingly it was the oil smoke but it was so dense that you could easily mistake it for a blown tire or something. Once we were over the hill and bimmer guy let off a bit smoke cleared and I caught up to him again. I was going to open the window and tell him about the smoke but figured it's not gonna work at 70+ mph, and my wife did not want to write "your car is smoking" on a paper and showing it to the guy, he could have taken it the wrong way and thought that we thought that his car is smoking as in HOT.
We figured he'll find out about sooner or later once his engine blows a rod, plus once we caught up to him he again took off like a **** leaving us in a cloud of oil smoke.

nah, it's actually quite dirty.
I have not washed it once I got here. I did get it washed in Vegas, I could not really drive around Vegas for a week with million of dead bugs on my bumper.
Surprisingly I did not see allot of G's in Vegas and I figured my car looks good enough to be treated as exotic, so I parked her at the Valet parking when I went to some casinos and nobody ever bothered to leave me a note or tow the car
