Urban Camo hood!?!
Hey guys I have been looking for a little change i am at an odd spot in the progression of the car. I am building another engine so most of my mod money is tied up there when thats done I am going to look toward some big exterior changes. The look of the car has me bored so i thought i would try to change it up a bit, so I thought i would try to wrap the hood with camo vinal. What are your thoughts? Yes I have my flame suit on
I know I am piss poor at taking pictures and I just drove home from installing the vinal so the front bumper is covered in bugs :icon43: The top picture is a new one, I think it looks much better in person. http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...rik76/gord.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/IMG_4065.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/IMG_4063.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/IMG_4062.jpg http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/n...6/IMG_4064.jpg |
not really feeling it, how bout a single color graffiti style hood like the black G with the pink rims
|
ughhhhh
|
someone photoshop it to have full urban camo for the entire car.
I'm curious to see how it looks |
I prefer Fall camo.
|
Definitely not as bad as some of the stuff I've seen here. Oddly, to me, it doesn't look that bad...
|
some ppl will like it some ppl wont but who cares you have a BUILT TT!!! lol
but damn clean your front bumper |
Would look better in this camo:
http://dip-tech.net/galleryfinal/con...e/100_0197.jpg Check out www.dip-tech.net for more info. This shop is only local and I watch them "dip" different parts... it's really neat! I'm not affiliated in anyway. |
^+1 or the whole car in camo would look sick I think.
|
please tell me that **** comes off your hood easily.
|
Thanks guys no real ignorant comments even if you don't like it i appreciate that. I knew not everyone was going to like....I wasn't even sure if anyone would like it but it certainly changes the look of the car and thats what I was going for. It is also starting to grow on me a bit maybe the whole car wrap would be in the future.

. Ya I also had some of the digital camo but I was unable to get the pixels large enough and it just looked like the hood was dirty. I also think digital would be cooler.

Ya it is a sticker so it comes off fairly easy. |
i love the concept. i jus wish the camo was bigger in size. more along the terms of

I'm actually diggin the hood. It doesn't look terrible at all. If you do decide to do the whole wrap, I'm eager to see how it turns out.
BTW, kind of off topic but what's up with your Nismo bumper? What's up with the 2 indentations on both sides where the bolt mounts are? |
Itll def look better if you did the whole car, and larger print like that evo, that shiets dope!

They are quick release fastners, two on each side holding the bumper on they are handy if you pop an intercooler pipe or if i need to trailer the car it goes on and off trailers much easier without the front bumper on.
|
no thanks. looks okay on the evo. mabye you just need a different pattern
|
...

do you have a photo without the bumper?? that's what i wanna see!
|
love the concept bro, wish it was a different pattern. i know you need something that goes with the color of your car but that has too much purple lol. something like that evo would look 10x better for sure. maybe the digital camo too!

I don't like it at all :( your car was the definition of aggressive/subtle/classy. If you are getting bored with the look, as was I with my old G, paint it! Since you have your money tied up for another built engine (what's the reasoning behind this?), you could fully wrap the car I any color. I just don't like the camo look. In the end, you still have my favorite DG :)
|
If you go with that theme, Gord, you need to put the skeleton-paratrooper engine cover back in.
And give me your Cosworth, LOL! I don't mind the idea, in a little different pattern as others have suggested. Have you thought of just changing up the rim colour or maybe two-tone paint ($$$) |
either go bigger scale camo, or do the digital camo
i'll post a pic of a local 350z in a sec |

Take that sticker off.....burn it....your welcome
|
I think if the vehicle's color was a little darker of a gray it would flow better, I like the idea tho.
|
sylvan road trip! justin who wrapped this car is in tampa. you should come hang out and let him do yours. ;)

That's actually a rather awesome looking wrap on that Z.
I've had enough of looking at woodland camo, desert camo, and now ACU digital camo... but I must say that is is nicely done on that Z. I'm guessing the guy who drives the Z is an E6, to say the least. |
Just wondering, are those dents in your front bumper by the fender on both sides?
|

Ohh haha, i read every post but that :D
Thats pretty cool though |
not a fan at all sorry... i think if it was done in digi or like that evo it could look good though
|
doesnt look too bad imo
|
Car looks awesome, but not diggin the camo.
|
|
I think it looks cool if you were at a show but not for daily use.

My daily is a 2010 Titan this is my weekend car so it pretty much only sees car gatherings or cruises. |

I've seen Team Wu's Lambo in person and that car looks sick!!! Op, really think you should go with the digital design in full wrap.
