depending on where he lives, a Bmw may or may not be a "big deal", around here in boca I wouldn't turn my head for a Bmw nor a Bentley unless there was something "special" about it. I say continue with the black and red theme and add a few more accents of red throughout the car.
+1 I don't find anything aesthetically special about BMWs worth staring at unless modified. They're very common here.
I think you should do what you like and stop gauging what others think. Build what you like and what you want rather then inquiring if some of your mods are acceptable. Go with a vision and follow through.
I hope you tie in those mirrors soon cause its not a good look. Glad the OEM emblems are back on

I agree about stock bmw's. However as i said before, tastefully modded bmw's do not need much to grab attention. a BMW with ultrawhite halos, t1's and blacked out chrome and emblems will draw plenty of attention.

I agree with Tian, I hope you get the rest of the car completed with the color scheme you have in mind soon as it looks a little off right now.
Or you could photoshop what you have in mind so we can all provide our opinions which is what you said you like to get from us

thanks urban, can you chop this pic? i want the body to be matte white but leave the roof and a pillars black and can you paint the exterior chrome trim black also?

I'm getting the following installed
1. Dct shifter*
2. Kw v2 coils
3. Lci tail lights with coding*
4. Bimmian full interior led
5. Coral red euro split armrest
6. Weisslicht angel eyes
7. Gp 7500 fog light
8. Cusco strut bar
9. Make a hole for my convertible button on my center console trim
10. Ac schnitzer pedals*
11. Rolling my rear fenders

heres a quick chop....I dunno how to get it to look more "matte" but I think it doesnt look too bad.
