I doubt the drone is that bad.
I have a full 3" exhaust with test pipes and a stripped interior so the noise is insanely loud. An evo WITH an interior is already loud, and all my friends tell me it's the loudest car they've ever ridden in, but it didn't bother me much.
I had drone in my G35 as well, and to help with the problem I would crack open the sunroof and windows. Somehow this helped, don't know if it was just letting the drone escape the cabin or what, but it worked.

Topspeed Pro-1 exhaust. Which is probably one of the loudest but sexiest g35 exhausts.
I sold it, and now my friend has it. He's coupling it with a set of test pipes.

Heres how the AC schnitzer exhaust sounds

Correct, I just had my both turbos replaced last week
....
But it wasn't the turbos that were bad it was the wastegates that wouldn't close properly. Since the wastegates and turbos are 1 whole piece they have to replace both.
I bought this car knowing the problems such as the hpfp(high pressure fuel pump) issues but that's covered under a 10 year 100000 mile warranty. Also if u buy used make sure u get extended warranty like I did
