My BMW 335i Progression Thread.
 

Hello, as many of you guys know i just traded in my 04 G35 Coupe on Wednesday 12/1/10 :mad:. It was a fun 3 and a half years with my G,
met alot of ppl and joined the OGC:D. But i just had an urge to get into a BMW and the 335i always caught my eye when they came out.
So i traded in my G coupe for a 08 Jet Black 335i Convertible:JAMIN:.


This thread is just to show what mods and stuff i do to it, so check in for updates. (i know i said i wasnt going mod crazy on the Bimmer but what can i say lol. i love modding.)


What I purchased already.

1. Diamond Black Interior Trim (my interior now has the ugly wood trim and looks to old for my taste lol.
i had random ppl at work asking me if that car was my parents car :icon17: lol.
So i think getting rid of the wood trim would help the look for sure.

2/22/11 ,The mod bug is biting me hard!! I just bought a no longer being produced OEM BMW Performance L.E.D Steering Wheel. These run around $1200 new but I got a sick deal so I had to buy it!!!

This steering wheel basically display oil/water temp, 0-60 times, quarter mile time, lateral G??? Or something lol, and LEDs light up when u set up what rpm u want the LEDs to light up

I installed the driver/passenger front and rear in under like 10 mins lol now it's onto the dash and center console!

Now all I have to do is the main vent/passenger side vent , center console, and rear vents/and trim... Doing this slowly so I won't mess up anything lol but it sure beats paying $650 at the stealership haha!

(yes the front is pretty much slammed, but the rear is a bit higher? why, well when i put my convertible top down the rear lowers a bit so it sort of looks even. but i am going to get the rear lowered a bit more)

(AKMotorwerks couldnt cut the convertible button hole in my diamondblack center console trim so my damn wood center trim is still installed for now until i order the new db center console trim with the convertible button cutout!)

The BMW dealership was asking $34,900 + 7% tax,fees,etc =$37,343 but my 04 G35 coupe wasnt paid off and i owed $10,300. The BMW dealership gave me $8,000 for it. So i had to add +$2,400 to $37,343=$39,743. After talking with the sales rep for a few days i offered $35,000 out the door and he excepted:D. I put $5,000 down and purchased extended warranty and im going to purchase extended maintenance in a few months.

I cant stop driving my new car haha. but i plan on driving my E30 for the winter but i have to buy some winter tires for it first. I actually have a video of me dropping the top of my 335i on facebook. i didnt think to take pics lol since it was really cold outside.

i will definetly be getting white halos :biggthumpup:

yea i loved my G, but i must say the E93 doesnt disappoint.

Congrats on the new car man.. I was a big fan of your g.. sorry to see it go.. And why did you go with the vert? I dont think the lines flow at all.. Idk, maybe once you drop it it will look better..
