My small progression thread

Well i figure I would like to share the many stages ive went through with the G and I think im almost done modding. Just thinking if I should add some type of spoiler or not with my current setup to finish it off.

I dont have any stock pics but here were my first mods. AME shallen SX 19X9&10 +22 offset, OEM cf hood, and veilside front(painted black when i bought it used), gialla grill, 350z S-techs.

Next I changed it up a bit and went with slightly more aggressive setup with AME Circlar specR 19x9&10 +15, veilside front and rear painted white, gialla grill, JIC A2's and black housing projectors.

Then I wanted to try out the stretched/hellaflush look and changed other things. Garson Deep Racing 19x10+4, 19x12+6, full ionic Cf lip kit, black housing projectors, and Tein Basics.

I then got bored with it and didnt like hearing rubbing on bumps so I changed it up to more of a track look. changed wheels to AME FS-01 18x10+25 all around with 25mm spacers, rotora 6/4 BBK, and TS cf hood.

Then i didnt like that so I decided to go with Volk Sf challenge wheels in gold and got rid of the cf hood also had sparco torino seats and was planning to do a TT install.

And now my current setup. Volk SF challenge custom powdercoated metallic gloss black with GT cf low centercaps, OEM brembos with drilled rotors, brand new unpainted projectors with TSX lenses, Tein basics, full ionic CF lip kit with rear cf nismo diffuser, Greddy EVO TT exhaust, gialla grill and other misc. engine/suspension mods.

Sorry I dont have a pic of the rear in current form. just took a quick pic at work. I am currently spoilerless but am debating if I should add some type of spoiler to my current setup to top it off and finish my modding days.

Any input/comments are welcomed. Hopefully not too much hate.

CF IMO needs to be painted, looks like a base g35 sedan with the black plastic sideskirts and lips...Nice work other than that!

I agree. The lip kit just doesn't fit. And you're a wheel *****!

I like the c/f lip kit. Kinda reminds me of the GTR (yeah, I know the GTR doesn't have c/f lip & SS).

I guess the lip kit isnt for everyone. I debated painting it but then the car would be too plain I think. no contrast. I might consider a different kit though.

I guess i sort of see where your coming from, but when I had the veilside kit painted white i felt kind of bored with it. like it was too plain after a while. so thats why i changed it up. Dunno might decide to change it up If i find something I really like.

Perhaps you can look into something like the Nismo bumper where the vents can be painted black for some contrast. That way you get the best of both worlds. As it stands, I gotta agree with everybody else that the CF lip kit just looks off.

Yea I dont have some pics of some other things I had but I had the nismo front, ings sides and veilside rear as a setup before. Also had SSR agle minervas and SSR D5R's. Maybe ill get the kit painted or sell it and buy what I really want. still debating.

imo if you feel your car is to plain change the color to suite your intrest to keep a flow .. oppisite colors on a car can either benifit or distract from the flow ..IMO regardless sweet ride

the cf lip kit and sides look really off on a white car, the contrast makes it look worse. It would be ideal on say a...blk car? maybe even TB, but not white man.
