Tested my summer tires in the snow/Photoshoot
I only took the car one block, literally, so I wouldn't really call it a test, but the tires were as horrible in the snow as I expected. I just couldn't pass up taking some pics in all this recent snow.
You can get to all the pics on my site, but here's the idea.

apparently my tire test sarcasm didn't come through the web too well.
I'm near Dallas. We get this much snow once, maybe twice, a year. So the G just stays in the garage, I work from home those days, and I drive my wife's Explorer if we need to get out of the house.

My all season suck suck in the snow also. Luckily school was closed for all the snow we got all last week and yesterday here in DFW.
I would have never thought I would experience temps in the teens atm and 100+ in the summer when I moved here.

^haha. I did that in the Explorer.
Seriously, rwd and extreme summer tires almost down to the wear bars. donuts are barely even possible. I seriously about got stuck...had to do some rocking back and forth. The deeper snow was actually no problem. It was the hard-pack stuff layered on top of the ice that was bad.
