Sick of getting harassed by the local police, but didn't enjoy the idea of going back to stock and paying for all the fix it tickets I accumulated. So I parted it out.

 

^why didnt u jus sell the car instead of chopping it? selling it for any amount woulda been better then chopping it up no?

 

not for me. It's really simple, but no one follows my logical. I had to go to a CA ref, which means they would find everything.... I would have what I worked out to be at least $1,000 in fines between what it costs for the Ref and since the tickets were going to have to be paid in full (1xx) each I had like 7-9 fix it tickets. My car was only worth 8k tops. I have no clue how much I have accumulated so far, but I'm sure I will get more. By chopping it I didn't have to pay the fines and was able to buy another car very quickly. Now the rest is just spending money for the new project. I can finally afford to get what I wanted.

 

so if u chopped ur car the tickets go away or something? and howd u get so many tickets? cus ur car looks alot tamer then alot of the modded cars out there.

 

yes actually they do if you get a non op certification. How can you fix something thats never going to drive again? Just go in front of a judge and they dismiss them. I live in Huntington Beach. Take a car down our main street that has any mods and see what happens haha. It's just the look they loved to give me hell for it and I finally gave up with it.
