For all the 3M Blue tape users, i found something i like much better!

I am going to be trailering my car across several states for my move coming up soon and I used to tape my front end up with Blue 3M painters tape. I was in Lowes and found this temporary carpet protection film that comes in 24"x50' rolls for $13. I bought some and it works wonders! It sticks even better to the car than the 3M tape does, peels off easily and leaves NO residue on the car what so ever, and most importantly, saves HOURS! Now, I did a half *** job on my car since I am trailering it but you can obviously take as much time as you want, dont for get to trim around the air dams in the bumper and grill if your going to be driving the car to aid in cooling. I just did the whole front end of my car, mirrors, and a pillars in about 20-25 minutes! This is a lot cheaper than the "Road Wrap" stuff and i wouldnt be surprised if it was the same exact stuff!

cool thanks for sharing, yea i seen this stuff at the store, it's basically just like a thicker bigger cellophane wrapping that's used in the kitchen, and it that sticks the same way as cellophane is sticky stuff but never leaves any residue
i wouldnt turn my headlights on with this stuff though, looks like even a little heat from your headlights could melt it

Nice. however...

Ventureshield for the win

-- got sick of using 3m blue tape. Ventureshield is top notch, way better than 3m clear bra!.
