Ash, Randy used Duplicolor - Metalcast. MC100, ground coat, and MC200, Red Anodized to paint the dip stick. I sanded and removed the letters on it too.

Awesomeness. I've used that same paint before, and I was debating using that on my valve covers... I think your pic just made up my mind

You know what he primed with? I've used a primer in the past a couple times that worked well with plastic, but I'm always open to suggestions.
