When I bought the wheels I kept saying...I hope they turn out as good as I think they will. I had not seen anyone hand polish these lips. I am working on machining custom center caps with my Irish family crest, just to set it off. I talked to a CNC machinist, we will use aluminum and then hand paint the sheild. It will look like HRE or Asanti style shield, but custom to me! I think the wheels turned out great, thanks for the compliments!!

Have you ever seen the picture of wheels with the spokes shattered right out of them

It is not the spokes that blow apart or break it is when cornering hard they flex ever so slightly and come in contact with the brake caliper and BOOM spokes flying every where

That picture scares the **** out of me.

They recommend 3mm gap. The caliper hit the rim w no spacer, so I put a 3mm spacer on. I went out and slammed the brakes at 60 then 80mph. I am not racing this car, but I wanted to make sure at emergency braking situations nothing flexed.

It is a mirror shine, the first set of pics where just a 2000 and polish test spot. The most recent is 3-4 hours per rim, finger bleeding process. The hardes part is sanding out the grooves in the machined lip so it's flat.

so, is this setup still on JUST 350z Eibach sportlines or areyou on coils? I ask because the low is very respectable and looks more coiled.
