wow, i would be so pissed stupid people man sorry to hear about this. You might as well repaint the whole car since you will need to paint so much of it.

Got dam highschool kids... Try lightly sanding with 2000 grit wet, rubbing compound, swirl remover, glaze, and wax?

Got an estimate, it stained & ate thru the clear all over the car, $6,400 in damage! > Getting 80% of the car repainted maybe even all of it.
About the people saying to park in my garage, I used to since 2003 when we got the car but my mom just got a E93 so she gets my spot, I usually park in the driveway but my sister got in an accident on the 16th & her car was still on our driveway till the 17th
It's just an overall shitty situation but at least I get some fresh paint out of it :|

go to another shop and get another estimate. i'm finding it hard to believe it ate through your clear that quickly. how long was the paint on the car?

God the finish on that grill is awful. Needs to be wetsanded and painted again for sure.

Also get another estimate. That is color change cost right there.

The paintballs were on my car in cali sun for a day
He's fixing the dents as well & I like this shop & he does all our cars. If my insurence is paying then I'm going to go to my bodyshop & get quality work done.
I know the finish on my grill wasn't great I was planning on redoing it later cause I ran out of clear (it was still a project.)

That's f*cked up. If you're getting $6,400, might as well get a new paint job. Maybe something custom/different.

As someone who does paint and body 6400 to fix some dents and a repaint of same color is robbery.

Post the estimate because id love to see how he got that total.

There is no way paint ***** would eat through your clear coat that fast, and always go to at least 3 body shops for a quote. I would just get something like klasse polish and get to rubbin.

um I played for years and my car would get hit at least once a week. Just use a heavy soap such as dawn soap. Followed by polish and wax and you should be fine. no need to repaint.
