I need to test drive one... they look so short & a little less elegant than the M3 but Im sure they would be fun.

After a little research on the BMW website, the 1M gets MUCH better gas mileage 19/26 while the M3 is 14/20 ... but at that level, who cares?! lol

I think it's one of the ugliest cars on the road and it's really really really small. It looks like a 3 series for kids. You'd expect it to have pedals to get you from point a to point b not an engine hehehehe.

Forgot to mention - The pictures are good tho'

 

Something about it just makes it look like a toy.
Maybe it's the height of the roofline compared to the length of the car.
I think if the roof were chopped a bit it would flow better for me.
