Sold the G...got a CT!

I sold my '04 sedan privately back in early June (first time I've ever done that) and walked away with $2,500 more than the best deal from a dealership.

Anyways, I ended up with a 2011 Lexus CT200h and will be saving about $2,000/year in gas. Finally got it lowered and got some wheels! Let me know what you think!

Should be better than a G for gas milage. We've go a hybrid Camry at the shop and it's very economic in gas. What's the mpg on this car??

looks like a 4 door Mazda 3. I'll let you interpret that how you want.

I've been in mine for over 3 months now and have only seen 1 other one on the road! There was a 3-4 month wait 2 months ago, now I think it's longer, not sure. The high demand on these and the quake/tsunami didn't help things. I had to wait 2 months for mine to come in.

Yes, it's a hybrid. Before I had these wheels I was averaging 45-48 MPG in my normal commute. What's amazing is the sticker/EPA rating is 40 hwy/42 city! No lie, the car is capable of even higher mileage. I drove home from work a week ago behind a tractor trailer on the highway drafting behind him for 30 miles at 65 mph (kind of tough to do, a bit slower than I normally drive) and no lie, I had 58 MPG on the computer which translates to 56 MPG (it's 2 mpg higher than doing the math at the pump).

Looks like a nice car, I seen the commercials and the interior looks awesome! I personally still prefer the G but it looks nice though.

No offense taken. I thought I saw another CT on the road once and it was a new Mazda 3 hatch.

I think they are decent looking cars, but I couldn't live with 138 horsepower.
