simply getting into the car after it sitting in the sun baking for hours will read high temps like that.

It was legitamately 125 in Qatar today. When i get off midshifts in a couple of days i will take a digital temp outside and take a pic. it will also say the humidty percentage.

125!!! i went to streets of willow years ago and it was 125, i didnt use a/c driving on the track with a helmet on. with the a/c on full blast it doesnt get that cool as many other cars ive been in or owned.
