didn't want to ***** up the OB thread too much, so i'm just going to start my own thread...here are the most recent shots done today with a camera phone....mod list is a mile long, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

 

Odd placement of the hood dampers. Looks good though.

What kind of numbers is the car putting down, I've seen that manifold before but don't know much about it.

 

haven't dynoed it yet...needs new mounts.have a set of sold mounts for it, but haven't put them in yet...that's how the tein hood dampers are placed...at least that's how these are...notice how long they are too...i picked those up from Jotech about 3 years ago.

as for the mani, the longer runners (effectively almost twice as long) really help in midrange torque via my buttdyno...with spirited driving, you have high air speed coming thru the runners and stacks up on the back of the valve when it shuts, but with this long of a runner the velocity up at the top of the runners is maintained...this seems to really make the throttle antsy around 3400-4200

 

not going to go all out on this engine...building a 408TT to swap into it.
