Car is prepped, primed and ready to go for the wrap!

Got my 06+ heads coming in this week(thanks to UltraBootz) and working on my gloss black grill at home. Exterior is almost done. Just need legit clear side markers, new taillights and a front and side splitter.

After that Ill most likely dive inside the car for interior updates.

Going with 3Ms new pearl white gold sparkle wrap. Recently saw a Fisker wrapped in it by the shop doing my wrap and its gorgeous

I honestly not even concerned about getting 06+ headlights now. Save that $750-1k for the body kit and paint job.

4 sandpaper grit steps
polish
clear coat

the correct steps

I need to do mine!
Thanks for the inspiration

So yesterday I jumped on the interstate...hit a dip in the road at about 60mph and one of my exhaust tips fly off, bounces and go over the car behind me and roll into the median.

Luckily it didnt hit anyones car and Im not sure how since there were a good 10-12 cars right behind me.

Last week I was doing work on my car, removed the tips and the only thing I can think is that I didnt tighten all 3 bolts that hold the tips on the piping. I took the remaining tip off the car and only one was tight as well. I guess I should say Im doubly lucky since they didnt both pop off.

Anyways, now Iv got 2 new tips on the way to my house. The current ones are nearly 3 years old and pretty worn so I figure what the hell.

The tip ended up with some deep cuts and the opening is now shaped like an egg. It took a beating, could probably be repaired but Im not about to drive around with it like that.

Went with ConceptZperformance since each tip was only $75 a piece after shipping. Motordynes site wanted to charge $111a piece after shipping. Nothing like saving $70 on something I shouldnt have had to replace.
I guess my new duradal center caps will have to wait!

Thumbs up

You wouldn't have had that problem with an exotic speed exhaust. You would have gotten looks, performance, and attention to detail.

um no. his Motordyne is hands down better than an exotic speed exhaust which is in turn an Amuse replica.
the issue here was them not be tightened correctly.

That's your opinion. I've had no issues with my exhaust and it's seen it share of bumps and bruises but, I've never had anything come off. Yes, motordyne makes a nice exhaust but, it being the best is a matter of opinion. Most guys will agree with you but, again IT'S A MATTER OF OPINION. Even if my exotic speed is modeled after the Amuse, it looks, sounds, and performs beautifully and nothing has ever come flying off. Two thumbs up for my exotic speed. More if I had'em.

yeah guys...it was 100% the fact I did not tighten 2 of the 3 bolts. Iv hit worse over the 3 years Iv had it and having had tested the other tip and it came off with me applying hand force..

I was a fuking idiot in other words.

New interior LEDs. Doors, trunk, license plate and over head/courtesy. Made sure to wait until night to get the true brightness. So much better then those garbage dim yellow lights. Makes the car feel a bit nicer too.

I got it for sound...I can admit that. I thought I remember reading dynos or posts where the exhaust alone made nearly zero gains...I might be mis remembering but I could have sworn thats what I read/saw

I honestly never even thought about it, not sure why. PRobably because Iv never really done much more then sound system modfications and left it at that...on my other cars. Love the difference though, thats for sure.
