Just added some coils and rims..

Still have to take it out for a real photoshoot, but here are some quick snaps of the Tein Street Basis coils installed on my 2003 G.

Sitting on 19 TSW's wrapped in 245/45/19 Michelins.

Non staggered setup? That poor G looks beat to hell.

Yea non staggered. I'm on coils so I can get that aggressive look without sacrificing the ride quality and tire rotation.

It'll be in the body shop in the coming weeks to get all the dings and dents out. Actually bought it with all that on there. Previous owner didn't seem to care much.

Contemplating some wheel spacers as well to push those wheels out and sit flush with the fender.

That is a nice drop. Those wheels are showing off your rusty hubs. If you end up putting on spacers, get some silver exhaust spray paint. I painted mine and they are still non rusty almost 5 years later. Keep us posted!

I say ditch those 19's in 3 ways. Quick, fast, and in a hurry. The drop looks good but, a set of 20's will look waaaaaay better, especially staggered. I'm from Md. Also, I'm running 20x8.5 in the front and 20x10's in the rear with a 20 offset front and rear. Front tires measure 255 35R 20's and, the rear measure 275 30R 20's. Once the rears wear out, I'm switching to 285 30R 20's. I'm on a mild drop and my coupe looks and rides beautiful.

Yea I was opting for 20's, but I didn't want to jump right into it, this being my first G and all. Maybe somewhere down the line i'll go up a notch cause it rides really smooth on 19's surprisingly.

Where abouts are you? I'm in Silver Spring.

Are you with the National G Club?

Thumbs up

I'm in Baltimore. The 20's will ride very well, I have absolutely no complaints and no regrets.

Looks really good. Very clean.

Can you recommend a brand of exhaust paint, or just pick up whatever they've got at an auto store?

Hi-temp paint will work. Preferred engine high temp paint.

Just added new headlights as well.. Fairly simple install. They have intense coverage. I'll post night shots later..
