That's a good point...for a second I forgot most people here run superchargers as would I if I ever went FI on this car...

Post Answers to ALL your questions, hehe

Thanks guys for the compliments :-)

Big difference in the butt dyno, LoL! When you hit the gas rolling you just start breaking traction. The blowoff valve is very loud, it makes a big "whoooshhhh" sound after you let go of the gas, but most of the time when you are running vacuum the valve is open and dumping all the excess boost out so it's loud above 3000rpms when you're coasting. I don't have any other mods, want to get the Stillen exhaust, I love the way it sounds

All the parts (supercharger kit, oil cooler, NGK 1 step colder spark plugs, 3 gauges, gauge pod) was $5100 plus $1000 for install and 1 hour dyno tuning.

I haven't dynoed it yet, I'm taking it next week and they're going to tune it and check for leaks and stuff like that.

The guagues take a little bit of getting used to but like 1BADV6 said, when you sit in another car, it's like you have a 180degree view of the road ahead, hehe.

I'll take night shots when I get back from my camping trip with my boy scouts.

I inquired about the GATES belt, i think I want to do that, thanks Randy!

Right now it's peaking at about 6lbs of boost, I don't want to push it too much.

I haven't done any internal upgrades, The kit comes with a piggy back computer that runs really rich and adds timing at the top end to prevent you from screwing up your car, i still want it tuned so it can run effeciently, I want it to be reliable, I don't want to squeeze every ounce of power out of it.

Randy the oil cooler installation the mechanic said was not bad, a little tricky with the supercharger because I guess normally it would get mounted in that vicinity, the mechanic mounted it off center right behind my grill so it wouldn't block my radiator, he did an AWESOME job, the kit comes with everything, and adapter that gets installed where your oil filter goes, then your oil filter screwes into the new adapter, that adapter routs the oil in and out the cooler and back into the engine, pretty neat design, comes with everything you need. It reduces your oil temp between 20 and 30 degrees which is awesome.

Jtrain - The whining you can't hear until you're at above 3500RPS WOT, most of the time the car sounds like a jet because on inside streets your mostly in vacuum and the blowoff valve/dump valve is just expelling all the excess boost. As soon as you get on the gas and start generating boost, the jet noise goes away because the bypass valve/dump valve closes and that's when you hear the whinning, it's noticeable but not that loud of a whining.

I will hopefully be having this thing dynoed next week, I will post number as soon as I get them.

Take care folks!!! Happy Camping

If it's not too much to ask, would you please PM me a "shopping list"?

I'd like to know where you bought each item and what you paid. $5100 for all you got doesn't sound too bad.
