White Don't Shine... (reflection pics)

:p I know it doesn't compare to black's ability to reflect, but considering this is a white car, I'm pretty happy with the Zaino results.

While it's tough to convey through pics,

the Ivory Pearl does have an incredible glow/shine to it that I love.

My 3 1/2 yr. old son likes the G way better than the big-block 1955 Chevy Bel Air street rod. ;) Ditto!!

Feel free to add pics of your shine. All colors welcome (I do love some of those other options), but let's leave it at G's only.

haha..look at his grin sitting in the G
is there any issue at all with the child car seat in the back?

Installed one for a few weeks when I had my nephew over... Pretty simple no issues, only thing is that the passenger seat has to be closer to the dash board.

Looks very shiny to me..congrats.....the miracle of Zaino...lol. .....
.....and the young lad looks quite impressed too. :D

Yeah I thought the same thing but after so many coats, I started to notice a difference. Parked mine next to a brand new IP G35 and noticed mine just had more of a shine. reflection was more clear if you know what I mean.

GT-Ron 09-19-2005 03:39 PM

Honestly, his seat fits good and there is enough leg-room in the passenger seat for the wife to ride, if the whole family needs the car in a pinch.

I doubt that a rear-facing infant seat is going to leave much room for those up front, as they take so much space when backwards. We do also have a 3 week old, so it's something for me to consider, I suppose. I might have to switch sides if I ever need to haul them both. Once the infant seat can face forward, all should be fine.

I thought I'd take his seat out when not in use, but he likes to cruise with me often enough that it's better if it stays. Besides, now with the tint you can hardly tell it's sitting back there.

We've accelerated pretty hard and have taken a few turns, and he really loves it. He said "Wow, Dad! You're new car like a race car!" The exhaust note didn't hurt matters. :D

Here's a pic of my shiny IP coupe from HIN. I'll take some more of the reflection when it's clean again.

GT-Ron 09-19-2005 03:44 PM

VERY NICE!! :D

See, it seems no matter how nice the pic, the IP always comes across as Championsip/Arctic White. I know your car must really dazzle in-person.

Jtrain 09-19-2005 03:46 PM

IP can't even look at black's shine

Set game and match.

KAHBOOM 09-19-2005 03:48 PM

looks nice although I prefer black.. White has it's own style- looks breezy

We all know black is the undistputed mirror-shine champ. But how often do you see white reflecting so well? VERY happy with the Zaino... ...especially considering the wash and polish took about 3 hours. With a new baby in the house (3 weeks old), waxing time is minimal, as you can imagine. So happy to be able to do so much in so little time. The G's new and deserves some attention too. :p

Both has its' +/- but a IP coupe is clearly eye catching day or night. It's too bad the '05s didn't have graphite interior so I had to go with good old black.

Jtrain 09-19-2005 03:55 PM

eye catching... really?

coupin827 09-19-2005 04:05 PM

Yeah very eye catching, I have people stopping to admire my car all the time. Yeah black has a deep reflective shine but IP just dazzles night or day. :D

Picus 09-19-2005 04:06 PM

Very nice.

Jtrain 09-19-2005 04:06 PM

Dazzles.. really?

Stealth_G35 09-19-2005 04:14 PM

Nice car!!

Yes, really. And it's game, set, match. The order you listed earlier makes no sense..

One thing I love about white is that in bright light, the color is so bright it hurts to look at it.

I traded out of a white Maxima, and my 4X4 is Dodge's 'Bright White.'

Day or night, it glows. White is RIGHT.

Great looking cars.

coupin827 09-19-2005 04:28 PM

Good looking out GeeWillikers defending us IP peeps. :)

GT-Ron 09-19-2005 04:37 PM

We have a few coupes in town... ...mostly IP, but a BO and DG as well. Until I get my Nismo body pieces and other mods on, I'm just going to be content having the cleanest, most shiny G in town. The black one (a girl drives it  ) is always so dirty, I want to tape a link to some of the black G pics here or stick a Zaino card on the windshield. It's a disgrace! ;)

truplay8 09-19-2005 04:40 PM

very nice

White definitely is my second favorite G color. I really like the white coupes out there. I have to say though, there is something about this...

Jtrain 09-19-2005 07:25 PM

I have to defend the IP as well, I do not use Zaino, but my car when freshly waxed/cleaned shines like a mirror as well. It may not reflect like the darker colors, but It sure looks glossy and smooth...... I'll let my old pics do the talking ;)

Outcrnru 09-19-2005 07:41 PM

wow looks nice, i definately love white

Andy2434 09-19-2005 07:45 PM

Looks great from here. ;)

robbdogg 09-19-2005 07:45 PM

love IP - thats why I got it :D

OOOOA3 09-19-2005 09:08 PM

well, like as many people have posted already, IP cannot shine neither as well as some other darker colors.. i wax my car as often as i can, and i used to think that that effort was to no avail.. but last weekend as my gf and i were walking back to my car after the movies, she couldn't stop mentioning how the Ivory Pearl was just glimmering.. bear in mind, she doesn't care for my car at all, so yeah.. for her to notice at all was a big deal to me..

a wax job on IP at daytime not so obvious, but night time, it's beautiful :)

Jtrain 09-19-2005 09:44 PM

Doesn't care for the Coupe

Dump her bro-- Take one for the team. It'll pay off in the end.

Her evil ways may get to you.

mrjonang 09-19-2005 09:53 PM

Black is a mirror when you keep it nice and clean!

Triple8Sol 09-19-2005 10:12 PM

IP is the exact same (QX1) paint as I had on my Glacier Pearl Max. Absolutely LOVED the color. Looked so amazing in the sun, and pretty sexy in the garage too...
