Exterior Mods completed b4 winter...(PICS)
Just AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for the pics, this is the exact combo I will be doing this spring (minus the wheels). What you have is what I was planning but after seeing it on your car I have no doubt. Think it would look good in TB? What would you say your ground clearence is? I really think that combo, gives your G the exotic European look. The rear resembles the 360 modena, the front and side get as close to the 996 GT2 as possible. Again, NICE WORK!!!
Thanks everyone for the great comments!!! I feel so reassured that my car looks good after getting the thumbs up from you guys, hehe : )
For all you Greater Boston folks, I live off Exit 36 off I-93. About 15 minutes from Waltham/Watertown/Brighton. We should definately have another meet (bigger one) in 2 weeks or so. I will get my schedule all taken care of soon and post some probable meet dates.
The install was done at Avalon Racing's garage in southern NH, really knowledgeable guys!! They actually let me whatch a DG coupe have it's insides rebuilt, it was so cool looking right through the block of the VQ.
Still_matic - I had the Eibach springs installed and it was great...without the Greddy front bumper. As soon as the bumper went on, this thing became undriveable for the Boston area. I couldn't even get up my driveway!! Picture this...make a fist (horizontally) like you are going to punch someone...now tilt it vertical. I could not fit my "vertically aligned" fist under the front bumper. Swapping the front springs with the stock 350Z springs raised the front about .5" which is .5" lower than stock and it is PERFECT for me as you can see in the pics.
JoeArlo - I'm looking for a winter car/beater right now as we speak, I'm getting a carport and keeping it in there for the winter and driving it once a week when the weather is nice.
gspotter/G352nv - I loved the CB the moment I layed eyes on it at the dealer in June of 2003. The paint shop that I've done business with for the past 6 years is undoubtedly one of the best around Boston. they have a huge collision and paint center but will treat each customer as if you were the only one. The owner told me this when I picked up the car and i quote "if the paint isn't matched or there is some other imperfection, just bring it back and we will fix it." I took it back for the rocker panels because it looked like they originally didn't hit it with enough paint. I took it there and dropped it off at the start of the day and they had it ready at 6pm for me. This is service that is just unbeatable!
madchef - It seems from your post that you thought we cancelled the meet. We did have it and you can tell from dgbos's pics including my banged up plate, LoL.
Nate - the setup is great, i think it will look nice on TB because it's a dark color and it will probably look even classier. Let me know if you have any questions!
blazinasian - I don't know the offsets off the top of my head, I'll look em up tomorrow and post them or PM you with them.

i'm not generally a fan of the body side moldings, but actually with the Greddy side skirts it looks kinda cool.
with your suspension combination and the Greddy front, do you have problems with driveways and speedbumps?
