It's been posted a few times in the thread.....

It's a eclipse spyder (convertable). My guess it's a second generation but could be a third generation. I own a second gen convert so I'm more familiar with the second gen.

All the details are in the interior. The windshield and it's angle. The curvature of the top of the doors. The convertable frame with the latches and the hole cut out in the middle of that frame. The lumbar control on the side of the drivers seat. The seat belt retractors. The inside door panel layouts and it goes on and on.

It's based on the eclipse.......lol

IMO i think who ever built this car did a good job. Its really clean and original, and i love the motor swap. Maybe im not to fond of the interior, but its a show car and we should just respect the work and effort that was put into it, whether we like it or not.

 

Well, I hate to say it, but that is one clean project. The interior isn't appealing to me, but oh well.

 

The G35 rear end is alot better looking that the Z end.

Thats A Damn Clean Version, It Takes Mad Work To Do Something Like That And Make It Look Stock. Unfortunately, The Interior Is A Bit Distasteful For My Liking.

 

That explains the intercooler on top of the motor....Gets uglier ever time I look at it

 

For the money spent on this, the owner could have bought either a G or Z and really hooked it up.
