Is it possible?

Is it possible to pop off the coupe door speaker grills?

I just wanted to see how much space there was between the actual speaker (with MDF ring) and opening.

Need to take off door panel.They are plastic welded on.Just use a heat gun and heat up the two tabs,then push out.There is 1" space between door & door panel

Yes its kind of a pain. I covered mine in grill cloth and put the MB Quart emblem on top.
