Nikon just announced it is getting out of the film camera business almost entirely. One pro and one advanced amateur, only a few manual focus lenses, no more enlarger lenses. First announced in the UK, later in the US. Sad to see it happen.

 

Film is dead. Well not totally, but digital is becoming wildly popular even in medium format.

 

^^^yeah i heard that today. i'm fine with it since i dont do film...but i'm sure a lot of film junkies will be upset
