haha don't know if your wife would go for that but it all depends on how well you pitch it!

 

I would tell mine that honestly she knows I'm gonna mess with the car in one way or another. If I go springs/coilovers chances are good she's gonna hate me for it, but since I'm obviously gonna have to do something (taking the "just don't do it out of the equation all together, because mine personally would agree there) that I may as well do something that won't suck.

And the 37 sedans look sweet on bags

Once you establish the baseline of "I'm definitely going to modify this" you're in better shape. It takes the wind out of the argument when that becomes fact and not something to dispute. Then you just have to work together on how it's going to be modified.

It helped that I was already ****ing with my car before I met the wife, it's a part of our relationship.

 

my problem is that i told my wife when i got my new car i wasn't going to go as crazy as i did with my G but within a month i had already gotten new headlights, taillights, wheels, exhaust, tune and a couple interior things haha
