I am going against the typical mods: volk wheels, iForged, dpe, oem front lip, bodykits, etc. Not that I have anything against that... i think some of the nicest g's i have seen rock those products. Im just going aginst the grain and trying to be a little different. People may like it, others may hate it, but in the end, its my car and im modifying it for my personal taste... with that being said, props to everyone on this board for having their own taste and style and doing wut they want to do but yet sharing the same passion for the G35.
Going against the norm is the way to go. How can anybody not look at the Red on Red on the streets. Tight ride bro.

How big is the lip on the rear? I'm rolling 20x10.5 and looks about the same. Are Avus wheels true 3-piece forged (not welded 2-piece)? Anyhow, original wheels. Two thumbs up.

Riche: Yea, red on red is a lil tough on the eyes at first.. ahhahahaa.. but yea, I catch people staring all the time. As for the Avus rims, the rear has 3.5 inch lip i believe. It is not the max lip series, therefore the lip is not as wide. I am not sure of the offsets because they were custom made to clear a bbk that i plan on doing in the future. The lips arent as big as others.. but I still think it looks plenty aggressive. Thanks again for the compliments...

damn, that's HOT, good job! I've been thinking a for a long time that if someone got a set of red/anodized red work meister sp1 on an IP Coupe, it would look absolutely drop dead beautiful.

I'm trying to nudge by buddy with an IP coupe to go in that direction, but it might be abit too bold for him :P

Yes Avus wheels are a true 3 piece forged design. I would say there closest competitor is HRE in terms of craftsmanship, quality, and prestige of there company. plus they all come with CHROME, not polished lips

What are your offsets? 11's will work, now I wonder if 12s can be stuffed in there.

philogene... thank you... i see u have good taste as well!!!

brian.... i don't know the exact offsets because they were custom made by Avus to clear bbk... so sorry, im not able to answer your question. 20x12... i would like to see that as well... without a widebody kit, i cant see how that would fit without major modifications... just my .02.

the concept is great.........but is it me or do the wheels look way to tucked in...... ull need more than a 5mm spacer to make those look at least somewahat flush, Avus needs to do more research on there offsets for the G, thats the second set of that combo width ect.....that ive seen the wheels look to tucked in, especially with an 11 on the rear, i got 11 on the rear and its flush with my fender

Robzone... i am curious... u think that i would need more than a 5mm spacer? How much more should i get? Do you have any issues with rubbing with your setup? I would need to have my fenders rolled for sure correct? Thanks for the help in advance.

I'm very curious about the coil overs. How much of a drop did you get compared to say the other brands out there? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

well anything more than 8 is pushing it.....mybe 10mm to start out with.....with anything over 8 mm, the studs have to be longer in order to be safe to bolt teh wheel, you can either put longer studs (hard way) or get the spacers with studs on them (easier way) when i used spacers with my volks in front, i used 5mm no problem, i got them from project nissan, with both my volks and JP's I had to cut my fender in order for it not to rub, with my setup npe, it would be impossibe for me to deive without cutting my fenders......in all the wheels u have chosen look great, but in order to really compiment the car, i would like to see you push them out and give ur car that clean agressive I HAVE 11's on the rear! look...lol.........
