I think our G35s have VTEC as well... it's called "VCTCS". In the manual is reads:

"DOHC, 4 valves per cylinder with microfinished camshafts and Continuously Variable Valve Timing Control System (CVTCS) for intake valves."

But ours is BETTER!

i think silverbolt's last pic just about sums it all up

i noticed you changed the bulb in the clearance strip
the first few pics show the clearance strip much brighter and more blue than the last few ones.
what type of bulb is that?

They're all actually of the same bulb. I used the 9led from superbrightleds.com. The reason why they look different is because of the lighting, and the settings I have on my camera that soaks in more lighting
