My G35 on 22's PICS!
Reminds of a G35 coupe I saw in Manhattan on 22's...I dunno how that guy avoided all the potholes. His looked really stupid (his tires were super thin and he barely had clearance) but this one doesn't look that bad. Def. not my thing though. I wouldn't go over 20's on a G35...18's or 19's would be good enough for me anyways.
The thing I never understood though is why some people with luxury cars always want big rims on their ride. Luxury cars aren't Donks or suv's for that matter. I see this a lot with Infinitis (so many on cardomain it's ridiculous), Mercedes Benz's, and Lexus's. Bigger isn't always better. The ride quality of a Hummer H2 on 26's is horrible.
This trend is also common with Maximas and Altimas from what i've noticed, especially the newer ones.
My opinion: Everyone has their own style and whatever but I just think it's really stupid looking. Even SUV's don't deserve huge **** rims. Same can be said for those poor Caprices, Impalas, Monte Carlos, and yes even Camaros. But that's just me. I'm not just into that bling stuff.

It's really about showing off your money. Not everyone knows that a set of Volks, Iforged, HRE wheels in 19" or 20" cost $3-5K. But the general public will believe that huge chrome wheels on a expensive car would mean that those wheels are expensive as hell too, even though that may not be the fact.
Personally, I am a fan of big wheels, but not to this extent. My idea choice is any size rim that gets me to a 35 series tire without exceeding the stock diameter by 3% (3% is a general rule...)

if you like HUGE wheels then this looks good......but
if it raises the body off the ground it kinda defeats the whole purpose of putting aftermarket wheels on the car in my opinion
but whatever you like is most important...it is your car!!!
the wheels themself look very nice...just to large for my taste.
sometimes bigger is not always bigger. 19 is perfect.

everyone buys Volks because they look bad ***. I personally want Axis Milanos when I get my G but they are tooooo expensive!!!
Either way, hope you enjoy the wheels and the ride man. at least it is clean looking and blingy bling.
