Some crew pics.Import Faceoff - San Antonio 2/26/06 (56k NO!)
I should have gone as well. It would have been a nice show to add to the resume' most likely a trophy to accompany my trip as well. But coulda, shoulda, woulda......but I didn't.
Looking HAWT!!!!
Love the JP Scaras, the R33, and the Silvia! What a monster Turbo that baby has! geeesh!
So Moog, you took 1st place G35?!!! Congrats man. Car looks tight as always....whats up with ur trunk tho? is that modded to fold up diffrently of did it just look that way in the pics? Also, other than the 20inch iforged (so sick btw) what otehr mods do u have?

I was suprised to win...they had G35 mild won by a nexstage car (IP, 20" DPE's, kitted w/ projectors, stock suspension).
My car got won Best G35 Wild. I talked to the judge who told me that the other G's there didn't show their trunk and/or engine bay which lost them a lot of points. He said mine just looked complete compared to the others, even though I'm lightly modded.

The heavy hitters must have not gotten the memo on that show. Here I am thinking I would be LUCKY to take the mild class much less the wild. And you are taking the Wild....that's crazy talk. Nothing against the ride, but the mods you are rolling on aren't usually enough to take a Wild category. But it's all about who enters and who doesn't so you snuck one under the radar. Congrats.
Nice job guys, Congrats. I'm sort of glad I couldn't go or I'd be detailing my undercarriage again.
Too much rain for me. 4 to 5 hours under the car shinning her up gets old. Even if she is up on a lift.

Oh I have some shiatsu planned out for HIN Chicago next month. I'll have my kit painted by then.
And it's really not the amount of money you put into a car...it can still be ugly/dirty/not score well in a show. Our cars were flawlessly clean from our crew detail duty on Saturday night.

Just saying that if a car like Randys_G or Eggman's G were there they would have taken the wild for sure. I guess what I was going for there is (all detailing equal) There was a lot of room for a more modified G to take the Wild class. Usually you think of cars in a wild class are more something like Eggman's G and not a clean G with 20's etc. IN MOST SHOWS your car is typically a contender for the mild and not wild.
That is exactly where I was going with that. I was just being sure to clarify so no more anti-moog anti-niss got started. It was stating the facts and that is how I hope it was perceived.
