Very nice BBK bro. The wheels are not my style but they look good. Excellent quality wheels BTW.

Pointless to get the StopTechs if youre just going to be hiding them with so many spokes...a more open rim style would've made your $2K purchase more noticable

Would like to see a more open rim to show off those Stoptechs! They should be seen and not heard. Good stuff, car looks great!

Stoptechs are meant to stop my car, not always be seen. I am likely going to get a set of Gram Lights for the track in a few months, the stoptechs will be more visible through them.

My stock brakes caught on fire at laguna seca (a tiny one)... do not track your car with stock brakes!

One of the most ridiculous statements I've heard in awhile. The point of a BBK system is for performance stopping power.

Not feeling the rims either...if I was dropping $ on the big brake upgrade, I'd have a rim that opens up more, so you can SEE the nice big calipers! Just my opinion.

All comments aside, you have a great brake kit and a great looking G. I'm envious of the Stoptechs!

Thanks vodkarocket -- I've been wanting to do this a while, I ordered the rims back in December, took a while for them to be made. I wanted something classy and unique.

I am dreading the wait for my new rims! They say 6-7 weeks, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed; I just placed an order with Creative Autoworks as well.

What is your impression of the Stoptech's so far? What pads are you running?

Yeah, 6-7 week wait for rims is about right. The Stoptechs are awesome, perhaps a bit overkill for the street. I am using the Axxis Ultimate pads. For the track, I will use a different set of rims (probably gram lights or some used Z rims) and I'm looking at the pad list now for a different pad on the track.

Only thing is, I always have to look in my rearview mirror when stopping. When I tap the brakes, the person behind me has to slam theirs.

The brakes definately get a thumbs up! The AP Racing brakes are very good too, for about the same price. I'm quite happy with the way my car is set up now

Also, you should consider getting tires from Creative Autoworks as well -- I got all for Toyo T1R's for 850 installed!
