Hey I'm a newbie here, but have been contemplating putting a nav/dvd system in my 05 sedan. I like this setup, but can anyone list the install on a type like this in the cubby? My other option was to get the double din conversion kit and get an avic-d3. Any suggestions? Thanks!!

i act. DONT prefer the DD install. I have seen many DD installs w/ pioneer and an eclipse HU. IMHO using the DD kit the HU/Screen for the DVD player sits WAY too low. I prefer the OEM nav location for a DVD player and think its more pratical as it sits higher up. I dont like ot look down and more my eyes way off the road for NAV or other things. Having the screen up lets me keep eyes on the road so IMHO this is more practical...

You can buy a whole separate plastic piece designed for the the double din conversion, you also have to buy a different set of hvac controls
