Carbon fiber G-Tube w/jwt pop charger.

My first mod for the G. I love the intake roar and hiss of the pop charger. I went with the UTR carbon fiber G-Tube just because of the way it looks. Probably not as good as a Z-tube or any of the other intakes because of the rough wall on the inside, but oh well.

A big thanks to slikster818. Got the pop charger from him. Great guy to deal with.

Anyways, just posting up pics for reference, since most of the CF G-tube pics were corrupted during the message board upgrade a while back.

Yeah. The inside of the CF tube looks pretty crappy. It doesn't look like it'll flow more air than stock. Hell. Maybe even less. But if anything, I just lost 1 or 2 hp. Oh well. If I wanted pure performance, I would have went with a 350z 6mt.

I dunno. I kinda like the gold of the heat shield. I just wish it completely isolated the filter from the engine bay. If there was one and it left the cone filter visible with the hood up, that would be awesome. It does sound pretty good though. I love that hisssssssss at part throttle. Now I'm considering the Greddy SP2 exhaust. My cousin has one on his 350z and it's perfect. It's not obnoxious, gives it a deeper tone, and gives it a racy note at full tilt. It's everything I wanted in an exhaust for this car, and it's not all that expensive.

Damn this mod bug! I hate it. Makes me happy until I look at my bank statement.

Nice pics...the pcv should be hidden on the bottom side like the stock tube.

Here's our NEW DRY Carbon Fiber Intake Tube where the inside is SMOOTH!

Wait. How does that work? If I flip the tube then the bends aren't right. I know the Z tube's pvc is on the underside, but the G's stock tube is on the top.

Don't worry about the inside beig "rough"...I bet we are talking like a 0.01% difference

I love my CF g-tube, sounds amazing, and looks awesome.

Oh and, badtz (maru?) this is what my bends look like:

Note I have the version without the inlet tube (filter instead)

Yeah. That's what I thought. You can't really install it any other way.

And yes. Badtz came from badtz maru.
