Lol, yeah tell me about it...

I just ordered a spray can of touch up and clear coat form here... I think it will be much easier and better than the bottle and brush technique.

you think using the spray can for the paint chips would be easier? wouldnt the spray get paint all over the non-chipped areas too?

btw, good work on those chips man.... i have about 30+ on my hood and i'm about to order from paintscratch.com too, but after you commented about the spray can, maybe i should get that instead of the bottle

did you use the arylic lacquer thinner (i notice that they include that with the "kit" at paintscratch) ?

Nicely done - the first time you wetsand it's strsssful seeing it all messed up before you polish, huh? You did a really good job considering it was your virgin effort.

Kind of ironic, I just finished wetsanding a ton on my car and my sisters car. I'll be posting a how-to later this week.

I would use painters tape to mask around the areas I would not want hit, but blending would be essential for the spray cans... I am going to try to wet sand first the areas that need touching up smooth, then use the spray and see how that works... "Trial and error"... I also got the spray in case I get another grille... I will paint that myself instead of sending it out to get painted... I want a show grille and a street grille.

I am fixing the chiped areas before I get the clear bra put on. I was told not to clear bra for 30 days after getting the bumper painted.
