I have nothing against vossen, infact I owned a set of CV2s and loved. I just didnt love the price since thet were cast wheels.

Now that they offer forged im sure thats past the normal price of what forged wheels go for. But I guess thats just business aspect of it.

Exclamation Such a shame

I don't understand all the hate on this forum. Some people like one thing while some don't. I can understand we all have different views on certain things but, there comes a time when you just have to let some things go, it's not worth the argument, arguing about wheels. Again, some people want to pay $3000-$4000 for wheels and some people don't. Instead of hating on one an other lets just celebrate the fact that we have some very cool cars that have a lot of potential. If someone doesn't like my wheels...who cares with all the props I get from people on a daily basis about how nice my car looks thats what makes the difference to me. I don't think Rodney King is on this forum but, can we all just get along.

Work VS XX are cast and people still spend top dollar for them (the majority of Work wheels are cast actually). I just dont understand why people will drool over a set of Work VS XX and shell out 4k for heavy cast wheels, or buy some cheap 1k cast replica. Then those same people turn up their nose to a cheaper/lighter set of cast wheels from Vossen. They are one of the few companies that offer a full lifetime structural warranty on their cast wheels as well. Do the hundreds of people on this forum with cheap Varrstoens have that?

If a person doesn't like the look (I'm not personally a huge fan) that is one thing, but to talk crap for no reason other than to talk crap is BS.

Something can easily be well built for the price. High price doesn't automatically mean high quality. I dont think I have ever heard of a Vossen wheel breaking.

Vossens are sweet, and they look good on Infiniti. Probably where some of the hate comes from, in the sense of "oh, another Infiniti on Vossens" mentality.

And plus one on customer service, I bought mine used with a damaged hub centric ring. I emailed them to find out the hub size so I could order replacements and they mailed me a new set of rings instead.

I need to see another angle of that Q50 before judgement

No one is talking about varrostoens, have you compared what cast vossens wheels weigh vs others?

Vsxx are multi piece wheels .

I dont know about you but I go by what I experienced with my wheels, those things felt so heavy compared to other wheels.

In the end just because people made an opinion on what they felt about the wheel whether it be for looks or quality does not mean they have something against or some sort of vendetta against Vossen.

So I suggest you guys calm down let people have theie opinions biased or not. Enjoy your car and what you like on it.

I want to make it clear, I am not defending Vossen. I just dont understand the hate here for a company that caters to Infiniti/Nissan, has great customer service, decent prices, and unique designs. I think it is ridiculous the people who spend 4/5k for a set of forged custom 3 piece wheels, to put on their car that is only worth 10k. It makes no sense to put HREs on a crappy car. Vossens are well accepted on MyG37 forum and their cars are worth 2-3 times as much as most people here.
I think half this site currently has cheap replica wheels or ebay wheels on their ride.

BTW, my wheels are cast and been subjected to very harsh conditions, never had an issue.

Vossens weigh the same as any other cast wheel of same size. Plus it isn't like anyone here drives a performance car where it makes a difference. The G35 is an entry level luxury car. My wife's Hyundai makes the same power (if not a little more) as most people's G35.

I would agree with you that 2k is a little on the high end for them. But it is hard to find a set of rims for less than 2k new, except for replicas and ebay wheels. I paid nearly 3k for my cast 17" rims and tires.

Talking Rennen C-10's...love them, love them, love them.

I bought a set of Rennen C-10's from a spot called No Limit in Maryland. Before I bought them I wasn't sure if I'd like them on my car and I wasn't sure how they would hold up to severely damaged roads. After purchasing them and putting them on my car I was still skittish because I lived in Dundalk and Dundalk Ave. is one of the worst roads I have seen in my entire life pot holes, hella dips, you name it, it's there. It's the perfect place to test your suspension to see how well it will hold up under harsh conditions. My C-10's handled day in and day out with no problem, no cracks, no bends, no breaks. Now I'm all for buying high dollar if that's what you want but I found a great set of wheels for just $1400 they're not heavy and they look damn good on my coupe and in tires and I paid just over $2000 for everything I get compliments GALORE in short I LOVE my inexpensive wheels would I buy another set hell to the yeah. My coupel looks like it's on steroids and they fit my car perfectly I can't stop looking at my coupe sometimes i go outside just to sleep in my car.

There are defiantly some that cost less. I have been looking for a set of wheel for my wife's car recently. The new VIP Modular cast wheels are nice for the money. They are really cheap. About 1500 dollars new or 1900 dollars with tires.
