Yes luxury brands have always been about name more so than anything else. That goes for most if not all luxury brands . Look at all the euro luxury car makers. Quality sucks **** but its still luxury or percived luxury. Thats life lol

Wow I havent been on here in ages.Anyways I got a card in the mail regarding a focus group in WPB for G Coupe owners which pays $500 to attend for 3 hrs.Thought it was bs but I was far from it.I had to prove I still owned my car and show my ID.No cell phones or camera allowed.I even got screened with a metal detector. It was in West Palm Convention Ctr.So behind the "curtains" they had 4 coupes, Audi,Beemer 4 series, Benz and then a Infiniti Q Coupe. They give you a pc to answer tons of questions to get your opinion on all 4 cars. The Q had that new wide mouth grill and otherwise looked pretty bad ***.I never bothered to look inside at first , but when I did theres nothing there.Sort of like trunk material layed across the entire inside across the top of the door panels. The guy tells me this is a concept and the car isnt even a car, theres no motor or chassis. Its clay ! But you would swear its a car.The interior was next to the car in a mock car with no hood or trunk area.Interior was stellar ! Long story short this car isnt being produced yet. They have people there making sure you dont pull a camera outta who knows where and start taking pics.Lots of question to answer on a hand held pc they give you including what would you pay and what engines would you like,They said 3.0 turbo w 300 hp , 400 hp engine , or 2.0 turbo, what options appeal to you example -electric adjustable suspension, adjustable exhaust tones , LED interior lights.Overall was well worth driving 45 mins , I was done in 2 hrs and got a $500 check.Sorry guys no pics

Awesome! Infiniti did put in for a patent for the moniker "G30", which would be that 3.0turbo but no word on whether or not that will be an actual thing. Would have been an awesome option for the G35 days.

Luxury is a function of amenities and materials used, not the badge. It just so happens that some manufactures are know for providing extra amenities, doesn't automatically mean just because it has a certian badge it is automatically a luxury car.

Apparently this is too difficult of a concept for a G35 owner to understand.

My Hyundai Azera has quite a bit more than your "luxury" race car kid including heated and cooled front seats, rear heated seats, powered rear sun screen rear window, built in privacy screens for rear windows, factory remote start from cell phone, 10 yr./ 100000 mi. warranty, 10 way powered driver seat, 8 way powered passenger seat, led accent lighting, push button start, led day time running lights, real time traffic, 9 airbags, panoramic glass roof, memory setting for seats, mirrors and steering wheel, built in vehical location and theft recovery, geo fencing, power folding side mirrors, 14 speaker stereo, brown leather interior.

That enough?

1. I actually own a new smart fortwo passion and it doesn't have any of those featutes(except the LED DRL). You're full of **** again. My smart is about as luxurious as your G35.
2. The only reason Hyundai offers longer warranties is because they know it lasts longer. My Hyundai has never had a single issue. My G35 and G37 were at the dealer for over 20 combined warranty repairs in first year of ownership. Being 100% honest, my Hyundai is almost as nice as my range rover.
3. Again...sorry for bursting your bubble.

Haha no its not. Knee-grow, I drive that shib all the time. You're such a tool bag its hilarious. Weren't you "done with me"? I mean, I know I'm cute, but you come on a little strong.

But, no Hyundai's fall apart all the time. Friend of mine has gone thru 3 (count 'em, 1, 2, 3) exhaust manifolds do to **** welds. Warranty is there for a reason.

Why did you go from a g35, to a g37, to an Altima, and now a Smart? Economy spikes still hitting that hard @ home?

Altima?
I went from G35, to G35, to G37, to Wrangler, to Range Rover
My wife went from TL-S to Azera. (I wanted the ATS, but she liked the Azera more)
We bought the smart as a 3rd vehicle to take to the airport (I travel alot for work) and to drive in downtown DC (very easy to park, dont care it it gets dinged). My company pays 55 cents per mile for work travel, so actually I make more money driving it than the monthly payment on it ($146). Plus dont put tons of excess wear/tear on nicer vehicles.
