D-Wolf Clutch Kit
i'm getting in touch with the tech to get this early next week. i have an 06 and the clutch drives me crazy sometimes.
but is it only a problem on the 05+ clutches? was that when infiniti released the dual mass flywheel? i've driven an 04 and its like a totally different car with a softer clutch with lower engagement. i ask cause i noticed redondoG has an 04, so what made you come up with such a great idea?

Thats how things are usually presented on this board, very few people are actually willing to jump into a mod without seeing it first. I think with pics and an explanation, more kits would actually be sold

What makes you think the '04s don't have the dual mass flywheel?

Could you at least tell me which way you've shortened the travel on the pedal? It still touches the floor right, just doesn't come back up as high?
And if it doesn't come back up as high, wouldn't the helper spring constantly apply force toward the floor ?
If it comes up just as high but you've actually just lowered the engagement point towards the floor, then that would require the clutch not go down towards the floor as far? If that's the case, what stops the pedal on the way down? I'd be concerned about applying twisting force on the assembly if it being stopped by means other than the pedal bottoming out on the car's floor.
Hopefully you can see the sorts of issues I (and my others) am concerned about that is making me hesitate to make you some money. Perhaps you could address these here or even in a PM (secrecy will be respected as requested)? I'd love to have a nicer clutch engagement, but I know a little bit about this and want to be sure you've thought of everything I would have thought of...
(and I have no intention of going thru the trouble of rolling my own when only $40 will get me something that works)
I'm gonna go ahead and order one soon. Would just like to see what I'm getting is all. Even if I had all the specs in the world I don't think $40 is worth me going out to make one myself... I think I speak similarly to the others when saying it's more of a curiosity issue than anything to do with trying to make a buck off someone else's ideas.
can't wait to order mine. thanks for offering a product that has seemingly worked for many at a very reasonable cost. I hope you change your mind on posting photos though.

Well I've had my D-wolf clutch kit on my car(06) for the last few days and all I can say is it makes a big difference. This is how it should have come from the factory......Very well worth the money.....

Also verified by my tech that the kit poses no threat to excessive wear to the clutch/flywheel/transmission SO LONG AS you make sure to fully push in the clutch when shfiting. It's a simple and ingenious fix to a strange feeling stock clutch engagement point. Also, if you ever feel like the syncros are being weird and shifting isn't going right, you could always remove it.
After having it on, I am pleased with it. It makes driving the car much more streetIable, and I recommend it to those w/ aftermarket setups as well! You know exactly where the engagement point is b/c it's pretty much right off the "floor."

Thus far, I have not read of any complaints with this kit . . . And believe me, people will complain when given the opportunity. It's in our nature.
As Jon has mentioned . . . Remove the kit, if shifting becomes more difficult. The clutch is most likely not fully disengaged with the kit installed. I would suspect that the only people whom would have an issue with this kit, are those whom have attempted to make clutch pedal adjustments, previously.
