Review on Gt Spec front and rear tie bars
hey guys i just got the front and rear gt specs bars installed today. alright my impressions:
cars feels more stiffer, i also have eibach sway bars.
It is much easier to change lanes on the freeways, u just have to move your steering wheel a little. the bars will do all the work for you.
You can feel a bit more roughness when you go through bad roads.
Car doesnt have that bouncy feel anymore going through dips and small bumps at freeway speeds.
Much more fun cornering, you can take corners at faster speeds, and feel good about yourself.
So i recommend this mod to everyone who wants a little more fun driving.
Next step will be to find a strut bar which will fit over my 5/8 spacer, might try to get the gt spec as i seem to like their products.

did u use any washers to make it fit? hmm if it can fit on a 1/2, it should fit on the 5/8 as well, which is twice the size of the 5/16

Fitment:

also did you have any fitment issues on your car? what exhaust do you have?

nope no fitment issues here. install seriously took 5 mins, lol. i have a tanabe catback. i didnot buy the lateral bar because ive heard some fitment issues with that. the strut bar looks good. so you could adjust it a bit more if you had a bigger spacer? i can remove that hood liner so its doesnt rub against the hood.
yeah thats what Im going to do soon!!! remove that carpet because mine rubs it a tad...I just realized you are a 4 dr and I had issues with teh rear lateral bar with my HKS
I have all of my suspension redone on my car. Hotchkis sways, SPL adjustable end link front and rear, GT Spec rear tie Brace/Front tie brace/Strut Tower bar/ used to have 4 point mid chassis. Tien Basic Coilovers, SPC Camber kit in the rear with SPC Toe bolts. I have SPC front Camber Arms as well.
