installed skunk2 5/8 plenum spacer

well i really wanted the MD 1/2 spacer but someone gave me the skunk2 5/8 plenum spacer for free and so i just put it on to see how it was. it was a easy install. after install i didnt notice any big change in sound maibe a little in power but not to much, but again my car was driven the hole day and it was pretty hot. maibe when its cool ill feal a change in sound. has anybody else had this problem?

The sound is always different when the engine is running cold for a brief period. I am not familiar with the skunk unit, but since you have opened up the plenum . . . Are you still employing the OEM intake and filter? A Z tube and a less restrictive air filter such as a K&N or Amsoil filter should afford you more sound, if that is what you are after.

i already have the Z-tube and K&N.

it's funny - stock i know the engine was louder when it was cold and then quited down, but ever since i got the new plenum **** in, it sounds just as loud when i'm pulling into my garage (warm) as when i'm leaving (cold) *shrug*

You folks are install the wrong mods if your want LOUD. If you want a louder sound up front, I would suggest a CAI. If you are seeking a louder exhaust note, I would suggest an aftermarket exhaust. What exactly are you try to accomplish?
