Welcome! I'm Elvis.
To find out more about local car meets in SD: Go on Facebook and/or Instagram, look up Car Meats.Yes, "meats" as in beef and such. In a nut shell, you find out about all the local San Diego car meets. There's one like everyday except Wednesday lol

Off the top of my head. Tomorrow, there's probably a Thirsty Thursday at some boba place around Bonita, a Fuddruckers meet at 7pm in Mira Mesa every last Thursday of a month, and then there's Tacos and Tuners, at Wahoo's Fish Tacos every Thursday at 6PM, in Encinitas.

EDIT: CarMeats has a forum now: carmeatsinsd.com

Hey guys I know a lot of you have moved out of San Diego but i can tell you guys know what you're doing and I'm in need of some advice. For a while now my ac belt keeps getting lose and starts squeaking. I keep having to adjust and tighten it but it comes back. I tightened it Tuesday night and it's back today. What are your thoughts?

Belt might be glazed. Replace the belt and take a scotch-brite pad to the pulleys to clean off the build up of glazed rubber.

If you keep tightening it to quiet it, you will prematurely wear out the bearings on the compressor or any other component on that belt. Or snap the belt.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the input i really appreciate it. The belt and pulleys looked fine to me but i went ahead and cleaned them, but after a while it started squeaking again. I'm pretty sure its going to be the tensioner thats going out. Since its only the a/c belt thats making the noise i went ahead and took it out until i can get my hands on a new tensioner.

Were you at the D&B meet last night? Saw a nice, slammed G there last night, white with black roof.

Basically gonna be a better than new, super custom kit. Don't think they'll fit the v36 though sorry Kerry. Yoshi let me know, if your buyer is interested in a custom setup, if they're looking for a cheap setup to rebuild, this isn't for them. Asking price will be around $1600 for everything
pics?
