i was wrapping my center console, where the radio is at... i took off the face plate were the stock head unit and ac controllers are at... now they dont work... made sure all the plugs are plugged in and make sure everything was correct.... no ac/no radio is working... im going to infiniti in esco to use my warranty **** but damn!!!

side note --> they said there going to charge me 100 just to look at it, i ask calvin and he said i should since i got an extended warrany of 7 yrs/100k miles. does anyone know if i do have to pay, i know before i didnt pay. help me out hammies!!!

really? i thought it was just a cover that goes right on top and through the hole in the center console.

 

Did you have your car on at any point of time when the radio was being uninstalled / being installed? if you even trigger the ignition whenever the radio is uninstalled or being installed. Even if 1 plug is unplugged. it may send a error. there's a DIY on how to reset it. but next time try to take out the battery and don't turn on the car while doing these things. keep us posted.

but on a side note, any dealership will charge you a minimum $100.00 diagnosis. your lucky they charged you $100.00.. ghey a$$ Kearny Mesa charged me $120.00 for something, but I found a DIY on how to reset whatever that problem was. GL

 

sounds like you blew your fuse. Check there first. Dealership isn't going to fix your mess up for free. warranty doesn't cover things if you've messed with it.

yea just came from the dealership, they forgot to charge me the 100 dollars lol. But yea the ac and stereo thing is fried.... toasted... there going to replace it for FREE!!! good thing i had an extended warranty lol

there are lots of Saturn sl1's on craigslist. Most are around 2k. I dunno what kind of car shes looking for though for 2k.

 

I got my GS300 for less than 2k. It just takes persistence and patience.
