Q: What happens when it rains? What is the event cancellation policy?
A: When it rains, we cancel the race for safety reasons. Always check the web site or call 619-265-8159 (or the cell phone on race day: 619-890-0287) if you have any question about a possible rainout. We will get the race status up on the web page ASAP in the event of rain or the threat of rain. We will error on the side of caution and go by the Doppler Radar projection.
If the event is canceled within the first two and one half hours of racing, all spectators and racers will receive a complimentary pass valid for the next scheduled race event only.
An event cancelled after the first two and one half hours of racing is considered final and no complimentary passes will be issued.
