Especially pure black like this Bentley. It looks better than when it rolled off the production line after I finished it.

Wait til you see the before pics. It looks like 2 birds got in a fight on the trunk/roof!! Scratches EVERYWHERE!!!

nice logo "O HELLA JDM".
BTW can someone tell me whens the next meet up/ Cruise day? Only ones Ive found so far are for LA and OC people and area. Im kinda new to SD, but ive seen some sick G35's around. I'm sure there's a decent scene here, just don't know the right people. Got a few friends with BMW's, but ide rather roll with with people who got style (G35). LOL

^There's usually something going on every weekend.

Should have my car back next weekend, I'll be looking forward to going on some runs.

Tea station goes down once a month, typically early in the month but subject to change. Andy (Blue Bat) is always getting us out for stuff, dinner or just hanging out. Few mountain runs/cruises. Not sure if the sdrev folks still meet on Saturday nights in MV over by Ikea or not. Racelegal still goes down. Lots to do. Time for a Welcome Spring BBQ somewhere, Mission Bay or one of the local parks. We should all get together for some photo ops.

Here they are:

BEFORE:

Here's a side to side comparison, obviously the left side is the finished product. The little white specs are just polishing dust.

No wax for this car. I used Meguiars M105 Ultra Cut Compound on the trunk/roof where the scratches were and then the rest of the car got polished with Menzerna PO203S Power Finish followed by Menzerna PO85RD to achieve maximum depth/gloss. Then for protection I sealed everything up with Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Sealant

I rarely use wax as you need to wait 24 hours after applying the sealant for it to cure before topping it with a wax. Sealant lasts 3-6 months where wax lasts 3-6 weeks. And the Menzerna Power Lock Polymer Sealant gives tons of depth/shine.

Also, wax will never get rid of swirls. Some wax has "fillers" in them that will fill in ultra fine swirls/marring, but after a few washes the wax wears off and the swirls are back.

Compounding/Polishing removes swirls for good.

You wouldn't need to spend 11 hours on your car, Yoshi. This particular car I am very meticulous about, the customer is very picky and everything has to look just right and being that it's a black car, it's all the more important.

On your LS, you could get away with a one step using the Menzerna PO203S Power Finish It has some good cut to it but finishes down very nicely on lighter colors.

I am trying to finish my swirl X before i buy another bottle. It's also Meguiars. I am wondering how well i can bring back my blue color. I wax it every month since it sit outside now.
