Question 5/16 Plenum Spacer

So I have read a bunch of articles about MD 5/16 Plenum spacers that they are not that beneficial to the 6MT Rev-up engines. Just wanted to get you guys advice about it. Does anyone have it installed on a rev-up engine and do you think its worth it?

for RevUps you'll need the MREV2(or a normal non-rev lower plenum) before a spacer

You need to pair it with the MVEV2 to get the gains.

The MREV2 works great with the spacer.

The downside to the MREV2 and spacer without other supporting mods is the loss of power past 6500rpm, BUT, the gains in the mid-range make up for it.

Hopefully the next revision (if there is one) will resolve the issue.

Thanks. People debated between a kinetix ssv manifold and the mrev2. So I think I will just go with the mrev2 and 5/16 spacer.

Oh and theres a dyno day post on my friends 4g site if anyone was interested in going here's the info about it.

When
12:00pm - Whenever
April 29th, 2012

Where
Road Race Engineering
13022 La Dana Court
Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670
(562) 777-1522

The Plan
Dyno your rides, meet new people, and have a good time. Mike has, once again, offered his time to do this for us. Dyno pricing is 3 pulls for $25. If you want to dyno, you'll be given a ticket. To make it fair, numbers will be pulled from a hat from 9:00 am to 9:30 am. If you show up after that, you'll have to wait until the end to dyno. The rules are as follows.

1) No burnouts, no revving, no speeding. If you do any of these, you will be asked to leave.
2) Respect EVERYONE.
3) Treat the property like it's your moms house. That means cleaning up after yourself. Don't leave trash laying around.
4) Whatever Mike tells you to do, you do it. No arguements.
5) NO FIGHTING OR **** TALKING!
6) There will be a ZERO TOLERANCE policy in effect. Break the rules and you're out.

Yup it is. Its a dyno pack so you gotta take your wheels off. I got mine done last year bone stock except for the GReddy muffler so want to get a couple mods done before I go in. Picking up a Injen CAI today and thinking of the MRev2 and plenum before the dyno also.
