Just ordered a set of Yokohama AD08's today (275/295x30x19).......$1700
I'm hoping the 30 series tire won't look too skinny on a 19" wheel.

I have seen places where you can get a ticket if your tires are on the white line or crossing over and in his case parking like a Ahole.Originally Posted by importroller

In the market myself, definitely need tires more than wheels but seeing if I can work a package deal at the moment. Thinking back to the convo you and I had when we were out in Borrego and will probably go with a wider tire in the rear at least, think you said you believe my car would clear with a 275 in the rear without rolling back fenders so will go with that. Eibach rear camber and toe on order so should be there when I get back in 3 weeks. Damn $1700, think I may be looking at the same for the Michelan SS.Originally Posted by herrschaft

You cant roll your fenders. You have to pull them. Lets hope you wont have to do that

I would have to see the car in person again and measure the clearance. 275mm minus your current tire size, then divided by 2 should tell you how much more the tire will stick out compared to your current setup.Originally Posted by dsgb73

I know what you mean. I spent some dough on Michelin Pilot Super Sport's. I was looking at those Yoko's, but that treadwear rating is a little low for my liking but I heard they grip like mad in the dry. Originally Posted by herrschaft

Under rated. I would pick those Sumi's over some other popular "bargain" tires. No joke.Originally Posted by bluedevils95

Same ones I am looking at Jairen. Had a quote for them before I came to the desert bt don't remember. Talked with Grant over PM and he recommended either the ADVANs or the S drives if I go through discount tire. I know the car group has a discount with SD Wheel and Tire.Originally Posted by Jairen

@ Yoshi, believe offset was either 38 or 40 can't remember off the top of my head, suffering from CRS at the moment. It'll be 245/40/20 up front and either 265-275/35/20 in the rear if I just go with tires, if I can find a decent package deal with new wheels then I am dropping down to 19s with the same setup as above and make her a little more flushed. Currently just have uneven tire wear in the rear since she sits low. She was lower than that but I raised it up a little.
