Bored... So I painted my car

Stuck on base with nothing to do. So, I looked up how to change a cars color with photoshop. Lighter colored cars are much easier to change colors, but here I decided to take the challenge and do my own.

Yeah, I went nuts with all the colors.

Inverse of Ryans, silver and black

Blue

Red Strip, note: the hood is painted 2 colors.

Orange

JDM Yellow

Pantie Dropping Pink

Red

Yeah, I'm in VA (DamNeck Naval Base) with no car and there is no public transportation. A cab ride to anywhere around here is at least $50 round trip. This place blows!

psedog, can you PS the window trim on profile of a sedan... various colors would be great, but flat and metallic gunmetal would be perfect!

If you need reference pics I'll post one...

I guess I'm just hoping to catch you bored again and will have a chance to do it.

TIA

Damn..........neck that is

I shot competitively there every year with the seals when I was in the Navy(I wasn't a seal, aviation electronics tech aircrewman.....just got invited to shoot up uncle sams ammo at 1-3 & 500 yards and offhand .45 cal pistol at 50 feet) and I can say that I FEEL FOR YOU!!!!!!!! it does suck there.

For those of us to lazy to read PS tutorials can you tell me how to do what you did?

Thanks & hang in there, 20's not that hard to do after all & I think I even survived!

I think the red stripe looks baddasss If paint wasn't so damn expensive, I'd probly paint my car black just to do that to it, even though i have a rarer color for the G.

Do it w/ the TB, you don't need to paint it OB

Don't worry I will have more boring days, so I'll definitely give it a shot. I do need you to send me some pictures of the car you want it done to. For the window trim, are you talking about the chrome above the windows and the black pillars between the windows?

Here is the tutorial that I got the idea off of. I had to do it a different way, because my car is black. What used was called curves, and not Hue.

Tip: on the curves (or hues) layer, there are really two paints that you will use Black (eraser will do this as well) which won't have the effect and White which will have the effect. They don't really clue you in on that with most of the videos that I've seen.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/X2zfOUtdyGE&hl=en"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/X2zfOUtdyGE&hl=en" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Also, I gave shaving my door handles a shot and I gave the hood, fenders, bumper, and window surrounds the treatment as well.
