Cover over the existing...

Edit: I have the link at home. It is 100% Japanese, but you can google translate it.

Edit: here is an image of it. Plus I found them for a little cheaper. Around 255.

Headlights are not modded yet. I'm waiting on a few more things to come in to start on those.

My passenger taillight arrived in the mail. I cut off the cover two days ago (I had duty yesterday so I wasn't at home to work on it.) I still have some trimming to do so that the cover will fit on the other housing. The housings it came off of has a broken part so it isn't worth using those.

Good work, how'd you separate the lens from the housing so clean? We did it on DieselX's 4dr Coupe, but the lines where we cut were pretty messy and you could easily see it through the outside of the lens.

Those are Boss 318's. At least the rear ones are. The other ones are cracked so, I'm on a mission for a new set.

Honestly my drivers side is bad, just like you explained. The passenger side is much better. It is more about the preparation after you have opened them up. You have to get off all of the epoxy as well as smooth out the plastic as much as possible. I did this on my Passenger side because I had broken my first outer lens and therefor I had to smooth out the second one more in order to make sure it would fit. Another option would be to cut it on the bend of the inner plastic housing. If you aren't planning on painting the housing this is the best option. You might be able to get the reflective inner housing out if you cut here, but I'm not sure.

My drivers side, this morning

My drivers side now to show the difference in plastic/epoxy. (yes I opened it back up)

The bend area that I'm referring to

Don't worry. That's in the plan
I'm leaving the country for a few months, so this project is on hold starting today.
