It's really hard to know who does it tbh. When my car was stolen they got fingerprints and what not and never got the guys, IMO the only way ur gonna find out who did it is on a camera, I think the floodlight idea might drive you insane ever 25 min or so it shootin off, I've cought two suspected car theifs from my civic using our camera system, granted they didn't go to jail but at 3 in the morning I went outside with my rifle and asked these 2 mexicans why they were trying to put a key in my door... And they ran... The other time I just walked outside and the suspected had a car waiting and went off. I mean an alarm for your car is great but in a theifs eyes it's just a delay.

The Sheriff also felt like it would have to have been someone who knew the car/followed me. I am hyper paranoid about people following me, I've driven an extra 15 mins to throw someone off my trail if I suspect em but you can't always win that battle. Also, I NEVER and I mean NEVER bump my system in any neighborhood, especially my own. It's always been a respect thing for me and I AM that fuddy duddy old man who will yell at you for blasting a stero in the neighborhood...cept I "might" be "cleaning" my shotgun while I explain my feelings to you. *shrug* new neighborhood, don't know the folks round here...but if my shady-meter goes off...I'm gonna put a hurtin on someone
