i got 3 in white pvc pipinging with a HVAC filter taped on the end, a custom painted plenum done with crayons, and a plenum spacer made of partical board

well thats the obvious reason. But there are other reasons. And everyone in sfl is seeing hahaha I got an idea why dont you start up your own group and become master of your small feeble universe.
